COVID-19 Information and Response
As COVID-19 has taken a grip on the world, we here at Brewers Organics want to keep you updated regarding our steps and procedures to make sure we are keeping you safe and our employees safe. Governor Evers recently invoked a "safer at home" order, barring all non-essential people to stay at home. Being a grocery delivery company, we provide essential services to people, so we are going to continue to make deliveries.
Being in the food industry, we have always taken cleanliness very seriously, even before the emergence of COVID-19. Our procedures remain intact to keep the produce clean, our warehouse clean, and our employees safe. Employees are asked not to work if they have any flu-like symptoms and our line-packing business model for packing your boxes already keeps our employees at a 6-10 foot distance at all times. Nitrile gloves are also worn at all times before a thorough hands washing.
Due to the quarantine order, most customers will now be home when deliveries are made, and for your safety and the safety of our drivers we ask that if you see them making the delivery, wait until they have dropped off the box and have reached a safe distance before retrieving it. We will, however, accept all waves from a distance of 6 feet or more :)
All items that are returned to us for re-use already have a built-in quarantine period in our warehouse for 4 days before they are reused or even touched again by any employee. We are asking that if you wish to return boxes, ice packs, or bubble mailers to us that you leave them out in your usual delivery spot 36-48 hours before your delivery is set to arrive. This will help keep our drivers safe by allowing the boxes to be in quarantine before we pick them up. If your delivery location is in a place that is not suited for this please just recycle the boxes and continue to do so until we are able to resume normal operations.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at 414-483-3191 or hello@brewersorganics.com. We hope you all stay safe and healthy during this time. Feel free to share your quarantine photos with us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
