Brain-Boosting Banana Toast

Bananas contain a specific vitamin that improves our mood and mental capacity.  Start you day right with this Brain-Boosting Banana Toast, which will keep your energy levels high throughout the morning!


What (your ingredients):

1 slice cranberry walnut bread from bakery

½ large ripe banana

Pinch of cinnamon

1 tablespoon crunchy almond butter


How (your directions):

Toast cranberry walnut bread to desired doneness.

Slice banana into 6 pieces, on the diagonal.  Top toast with banana slices, then sprinkle with cinnamon.

Drizzle with almond butter. 

Enjoy immediately! 

Why (the science):  Vitamin B6, found in bananas, can help prevent cognitive decline.
