As of January 2015, The Simple Soyman has begun pasteurizing their Tempeh, which is now required by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture.
Tempeh has a nutty taste and a chewy texture. It is a versatile entree for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Try tempeh thinly sliced and crisply fried for breakfast or on sandwiches. Add tempeh to stir-fries. Simmer sliced tempeh in barbecue sauce. Marinate and bake tempeh for dinner entrees. The possibilities are endless.
